I saw the market in 1999! I only remember seeing the inside, where there were dried anchovies for sale. I was astounded that there were so many sizes from very tiny to a bit bigger, to a bit bigger than that, and so forth. And there were such big containers of each size. (My husband was bothered by the fish we saw in enclosures throughout the market, “waiting to be killed”, he said.)
