No more Public Days at InnoTrans trains trade fair in Berlin

on

As Danny is looking into an itinerary for us to do in September – we’re being positive – we discovered InnoTrans in Berlin has scrapped its Public Days. And not just now due to coronavirus COVID-19.

Public Days at InnoTrans

Dear visitors of the InnoTrans Public Days,

with the positive development of the trade fair and the associated growth, especially the integration of the new hall hub27, a public weekend following the trade fair will no longer be held.

Due to a lack of space in the outdoor exhibition area and the associated logistical requirements, it will no longer be possible to carry out the Public Days adequately.

We would like to thank all those who have visited the Public Days for years.

Your InnoTrans Team

InnoTrans is a biennial train and rail industry fair. It’s like an international motor show or aviation shown but for trains.

It used to hold public days after the professional days. But not anymore. We planned to go this year. We even booked a hotel (with possibility to cancel, fortunately).

Please allow us some time to mourn.
