BERLIN 2015 | Museum and memorials

My first time in Berlin dates from May 2015. Until September 2021 it was my only time. I know it’s odd. The capital of Germany is a centre of history, culture, clubbing, gay culture. Berlin is a modern, quirky city with a reputation for being hip and trendy. I took time to look back on…

ANTWERP | Looking for Linkeroever Railway Station

Once upon a time there was a railway station on Antwerp‘s River Scheldt‘s Left Bank: Antwerpen-Linkeroever. On a frisk but sunny December 2021 morning, Famo and I went on the hunt for remnants of Antwerp-Left Bank Railway Station and now lost parts of Railway Line 59.

In March 2021 I visited the Museum Hof van Busleyden in Mechelen for the ‘Renaissance Children‘ exhibition, telling the story of Burgundian and Habsburg princes being educated by Margaret of Austria, Duchess of Savoy.

Roosendaal

So after Troll Forest at De Schorre in Boom with Oriol, Thanh and I took the S32 train to Roosendaal, just across the…
