Limburg Pride 2025 to focus on mental wellbeing

No pride without a theme to act as guideline for all sorts of activities. For the first ever Limburg Pride, in Hasselt in 2025, the theme will be ‘Love Yourself, Embrace the Journey‘.

April 2024 was cold and wet. For Antwerp Pride Magazine, I went to Regenbooghuis Limburg to interview the people of Roze Bink. But as I had to travel to Hasselt anyway, I thought it was a good I do to get there early and explore the capital of the Belgian province of Limburg.

Limburg Pride 2025 to be hosted by Hasselt on Sunday 13 July

The first ever Limburg Pride will take place on Sunday 13 July 2025, and not on Saturday 5 July. Hasselt, the provincial capital of Limburg, will be its host.  Limburg Pride vzw chairman Bert Brone announced the date with pride earlier this week. 

Dinner Train comes to Belgium

Dinner Train is expanding from the Netherlands to Belgium. The concept is simple, really, while you dine, Dinner Train travels on the rails. The first ride in Belgium is in Saint Nicholas (Sint-Niklaas, Saint-Nicolas), on Friday 1 March 2024. 

LIMBURG | Bokrijk, an open-air museum of folk buildings heritage

On sunny October 2022 Tuesday, Jeroen and I visited Bokrijk, an open-air folk heritage museum near Genk in the province of Limburg. The Netherlands have the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem, Sweden has Skansen in Stockholm and Belgium has Bokrijk.

REVIEW | Holiday Inn Gdansk
