SPARTACUS GAY TRAVEL INDEX 2025 | USA and Eastern Europe under observation

Iceland joins the world’s most LGBTQIA+ friendly travel destinations for the first time, according to the Spartacus Gay Travel Index 2025. The gay travel guide keeps a close watch on Eastern Europe and the United States of America. Belgium ranks now 12th.

Spartacus Travel Awards pinpoint Brussels and Taiwan as top LGBTQIA+ destinations

At the Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin, worldwide known as ITB in Berlin, the Spartacus International Gay Travel Guide presents its awards. Brussels in Belgium and Taiwan are pinpointed as key LGBTQIA+ destinations. 

SPARTACUS GAY TRAVEL INDEX 2024 | Malta, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal the most gay friendly destinations; Belgium now 21st

Malta, Canada, New Zealand, Spain and Portugal are the most gay friendly countries for LGBTQIA+ travellers to venture to this year. Belgium stagnates and due to the advancing countries, it is now 21st on the list.
