Early 2020 AD. Danny and I embark on a 21st century Odyssey. On the Majestic Princess from Sydney to New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji. Back to Sydney, then to Melbourne and flying back home.

Lautoka was the last port of call for our 2020 Odyssey. We booked the ‘Best of Nadi’ tour, which would show us Nadi.

It was not memorable. Surely the guide, Tuiwasa, did his best. We learned some more facts about life in Fiji. But the stops on this tour were uninteresting. A stop at a marina, driving past Sri Krishna Kaliya, a large Hindu temple and a shopping stop.

Maybe we chose the wrong tour. But at least we drove around and saw the area.
