The ‘Tracks to Modernity‘ exhibition at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium in the royal and political heart of Brussels is part of Europalia Trains & Tracks. After the Orient-Express exhibition at Train World, this is the second Europalia activity I attend.

Eurostar ex-Thalys trains will keep ‘ruby’ red livery after 2024 merger
Thalys is refurbishing its trains at considerable expense. In 2024, Thalys will merge with Eurostar. Thalys will disappear as brand. Eurostar has blue and yellow as main colours. So is the refurbishing a costly activity? Thalys CEO Bertrand Gosselin says the ex-Thalys trains will remain red.

Opened in 1989, the Comics Art Museum Brussels in the Zandstraat / Rue du Sable in Brussels is run by the Belgian Comic Strips Center. The museum in Victor Horta‘s Art Nouveau Waucquez Warehouse not only tells the (hi)story of comic strips it also gives an elaborate explanation of the industry.
