Limburg Pride composes anthem for first edition

Limburg Pride will soon come up with its own musical anthem that perfectly matches the theme of this first edition of the pride in Hasselt, GayLive.be, based in Limburg, reports. The anthem will be titled ‘Love Yourself, Embrace The Journey‘.

During a B2B networking event in Sint-Truiden (Saint-Trond), some details of the programme, the premium partners and logistics partners were also announced.

On Saturday 13 July 2025, the very first Limburg Pride will pass through the small ring road in Hasselt. There will be room for about twenty floats in that first parade.

A Pride Village and stage will be set up on the Kolonel Dusartplein where performances will take place throughout the day. The full line-up of artists will soon be revealed via Limburg Pride’s social media channels, but the organisation is already promising a varied programme with talents who each contribute to the message of love, self-acceptance and inclusion in their own way.

Partners announced

The most important partners were also announced during the networking evening in Sint-Truiden. Limburg-based brewery Cristal Alken, Desperados, Coca-Cola, mutuality Solidaris and Maasmechelen Village outlet mall will support the first edition of Limburg Pride as premium partners and thus contribute to an inclusive and vibrant event.

In addition, Limburg Pride also announced collaborations with the UHasselt university, PXL and SyntraPXL colleges.

These partnerships also strengthen the message of inclusion and diversity within education. In addition to a logistical collaboration, students are given the opportunity to be actively involved in the organization through projects and activities and to help build a society in which everyone feels welcome.

For example, the students of the PXL Tourism and Recreation Management programme helped shape the Pride Village as a project within their curriculum.

During the B2B network evening in Sint-Truiden, companies, organisations and educational institutions were able to meet each other and participate in the six discussion tables, where participants could exchange insights and learn about various themes around inclusion and diversity.

The event ended with an appeal to everyone who cares about Limburg Pride: volunteers, donors and partners remain more than welcome to help further develop this important movement. Anyone who would like to contribute can register via www.limburgpride.be.
