Leuven Pride returns, this year on Saturday 27 September 2025. Leuven Pride started in 2023 as Queer Arts Festival Leuven and became a fully-fledged Leuven Pride in 2024.
“Leuven Pride is back”, the quasi blank website says. “On 27 September 2025, the city will once again be colored in all shades of the rainbow. Mark that afternoon and evening in your calendar: Leuven will end the pride season with a bang.”
Rainbow house UniQue and Queer Leuven are joining forces again for the second official edition of Leuven Pride. “After the powerful edition in 2024, we will continue to build on a tradition of visibility, love and activism. And yes, we’re going for that Saturday.”
Last year’s event was held on a Wednesday.
“A pride parade in Leuven style: no big floats, but a militant and festive march that harks back to the roots of pride. Cargo bikes, flags and glitter (if biodegradable) are more than welcome!”
“After the march, you can dive into the city for an afterparty at various locations: from exuberant dance floors to a low-stimulus Pride Café for those who prefer to keep it quiet.”
