LEUVEN PRIDE 2025 | Kinkday at Rumba on Saturday 27 September

During Leuven Pride 2025, Kinkday 2025 is a one-day (and night) event taking place on Saturday 27 September at Rumba in Leuven (Louvain), dedicated to fetishists and kinksters, with a playful nod to the queer community.

Organised by Kweeni.be, the event aims to be accessible while representing the broad and diverse spectrum of kink. Inspired by the atmosphere of Berghain in Berlin and rooted in values of freedom and expression, Kinkday embraces a sex-positive, inclusive environment where people of all genders can explore fetish, BDSM, soft play, roleplay, kink, and gear.

Workshops

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in workshops and discover various forms of fetish and kink.

One of the highlights is a shibari workshop by S4Kink, offering an introduction to rope bondage techniques, with attention to safety, consent, and basic skills such as knots, friction, single column ties, and simple chest harnesses. No prior experience is required, and participants are encouraged to bring their own rope, though practice ropes will be provided.

Another workshop, led by Master Alfred, invites participants to explore the dynamics of BDSM sessions in a safe and respectful setting. Drawing on years of personal experience and professional insights, the session will outline what a BDSM experience can entail, shaped by individual desires, fantasies, and fetishes. A safeword or signal will always be agreed in advance to ensure boundaries are respected.

Kinkday will conclude with an evening party. The event is strictly 18+ and attendees must respect the dress code. Grindr users can connect on @Kinkday, and everyone is invited to bring their harness, step into the pop-up pride dungeon, and join a community of like-minded individuals.

Who is S4Kink?

“I’m a rope artist going by the alias of S4Kink. I practice Japanese rope bondage (shibari), with a focus on form, connection and restriction. The work blends traditional technique with contemporary expression”, S4Kink says on his website.

Who is Master Alfred?

Master Alfred is more talkative. “I’m Master Alfred, and I invite you on a journey of sensation, surrender, and the exploration of your deepest desires. My passion? To tease, stimulate, and indulge you in a refined, respectful, and unforgettable way. Don’t expect an over-the-top spectacle, but rather a subtle, sophisticated experience that will take you to new heights.”

“A few years ago, my journey into the world of pleasure and massage began. Prompted by the wishes of my visitors, I soon discovered the fascinating power of BDSM. Driven by curiosity and an increasing awareness of my own kinky side, I sought the guidance of a professional BDSM Master. His impressive space and expertise opened my eyes to the possibilities.”

“What started with simple tools like handcuffs and ropes in a modest setting quickly grew into a true passion. Binding someone tightly to a chair or massage table, seeing how you surrender and enjoy the immobility – it gave me so much energy and motivation.”

“The stigma around BDSM? That disappeared completely for me. BDSM is so much more than simply ‘undergoing’. It’s a game of trust, respect, and discovering your alter egos. It’s about creating that headspace, learning to let go, and fully surrendering to the moment – to me.”

“My dedication to this craft has grown, and the simple equipment has been replaced with high-quality professional BDSM furniture. Today, I proudly call myself a professional BDSM Master. I constantly challenge myself and am always open to your ideas and fantasies. Together, we’ll explore what’s possible.”

“So, guys, lads, men who love to be dominated, who want to live out their fantasies – whether through intense roleplay or in another form – there’s a good chance we’ll create an unforgettable experience together. Your pleasure is my motivation to take you to unimagined heights.”

What is Kweeni.be?

Kweeni is an organisation based in Flemish Brabant that supports and develops LGBT+ projects to highlight the diversity within the community. Open to anyone aged 18 and over, regardless of sex, sexuality, or gender identity, individuals can propose new projects or join existing ones. Each project operates as an independent entity with its own mission, but collectively contributes to Kweeni’s broader organisational goal.

Kweeni follows a distinctive internal structure, informally referred to as the ‘Kweenie structure’.

When someone submits a project proposal, it is first reviewed by the Kweeni team. If the idea is considered viable, the proposer is invited to a meeting at the Rainbow House in Leuven, where the project’s mission, content, and added value are discussed.

Based on this meeting, a decision is made about whether the project can proceed under the Kweeni umbrella. Each project may have a launch or event date, which is to be coordinated by the project team. This date does not necessarily mark the end of the project.

LGBT+ think tank

In addition to grassroots initiatives, Kweeni also runs an LGBT+ think tank aimed at professional enterprises. This think tank supports businesses in creating inclusive environments that value LGBTQ+ employees, clients, and communities.

Through research, advocacy, policy development, and strategic guidance, Kweeni helps companies embrace diversity and improve performance.

The think tank also provides advice on inclusive product development, consumer engagement, corporate social responsibility, ethical supply chains, and crisis management. It facilitates networks for companies committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion and offers support during times of legislative or public challenge.

This professional branch of Kweeni works to ensure that businesses not only support LGBT+ equality in principle, but also integrate it meaningfully into practice.
