The Antwerp Queer Arts Festival is still planning its 2020 edition. Belgium prohibits mass events until the 31st of August but you can hardly call the niche, arty farty happenings of AQAF “mass events”.
Antwerp Queer Arts Festival 2020 wil take place from Saturday 1 until Sunday 9 August. As usual it wil coincide with Antwerp Pride, from 5 until 9 August.
Traditionally, Antwerp Pride in Belgium is held on the second weekend of August. That’s Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August.
The twelfth edition of Antwerp Pride will take place from Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 August 2019.
On Saturday 11 August pink Antwerp in Belgium assembled at the river Scheldt for the Antwerp Pride Parade. Perfect weather conditions drew some 100,000 participants and spectators to the city centre.
