From Thursday 27 October to Sunday 20 November, the Rivierenhof in the Antwerp district of Deurne hosts ‘De Grote Schijn‘, a light show. It’s a play on words as ‘schijn‘ can mean ‘shine’ but Schijn is also the name of the small river.

The City of Antwerp has added the Wolvenberg-Brilschans nature reserve in the district of Berchem to the list of urban nature reserves. That list now includes six nature reserves, together accounting for more than 360 hectares of protected nature on urban territory.

First we walked the Moerputten Bridge near ‘s-Hertogenbosch, we then went to Gorinchem (also spelled as pronounced Gorkum or Gorcum), to Dordrecht and we ended the excursion at Willemstad.
