WordPress is not only a very easy to use and practical platform to blog, it’s also a community. Trip By Trip has now over 200 followers via WordPress. That’s not enormous, but we’re happy with this following.

Westminster Abbey is a major landmark of London. The place for coronations, weddings and funerals, the Abbey is arguably the head church for the monarchy and the state of the United Kingdom.
At the end of our April London trip, Steve and I wanted afternoon tea before taking the Eurostar back to Belgium. As I read promising things about the German Gymnasium‘s Germanic take on this quintessential British activity at The Londonist, we booked a table well in advance for Sunday at 2PM.
As we had a morning to spend in London, Steve and I decided to head to the British Museum, being near the Crowne Plaza London Kings Cross and St Pancras International for the Eurostar.

After a weekend in London, Steve I returned to Belgium with the 17.55 Eurostar to Brussels. Tó the United Kingdom we traveled in Eurostar’s e320 (aka Siemens Velaro). On the return journey we got a refurbished e300, aka British Rail Class 373 or TGV TMST.
