From Saturday 11 July, face masks or other face coverings are mandatory in all shops, in museums, in cinemas, in theaters, in shopping malls, in conference rooms, in libraries, in rooms of worship (churches, temples, mosques, synagogues, …) and generally everywhere people come together indoor in Belgium.

They were already mandatory in public transport.

Second wave

Health experts dread the infamous second wave of infections and deaths. They hope the omnipresence of face coverings will impress people coronavirus COVID-19 is far from gone.

People who don’t wear a face covering where they should, will be prosecuted.
