In November Scott, Danny and I undertook a Sunday day-trip to Luxembourg. Scott had never been to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. So after a long train journey where we tested the modernised I6m coaches, we had a little walk in Luxembourg city. The Christmas Market was everywhere.
We didn’t stay long, honestly, because we returned to Antwerp in Belgium the same day. But we walked by the Cathedral of Our Lady (Cathédrale Notre-Dame), the Grand Ducal Palace, the Place Guillaume II, the Place d’Armes and the Place de la Constitution.
As it was November, the Christmas market called ‘Winterlights‘ was everywhere, but mainly on the Place d’Armes.
We stayed on the Ville Haute (High town). Next time we should go the Ville Basse (Low town).
