Visiting my sister in Zug in Switzerland, we went to see ‘Van Gogh Alive‘ at MAAG Halle in Zürich.

The exhibition is not a conventional one. Instead of showing actual paintings, it projects the paintings on huge screens, accompanied with classical music evergreens.

Sometimes a text gives context, but there is no voiceover.

‘Van Gogh Alive’ gives an accessible insight in Vincent Van Gogh‘s tumultuous life. More explanations would have been welcome.

Until 9 April in MAAG Halle near Zürich Hardbrücke railway station.
