Markets are allowed to (re)start today, under strict rules and measures. But the City of Antwerp government has announced the Exotische Markt and the Vogelenmarkt will have to skip one week and restart Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May respectively.
As a maximum of fifty vendors are allowed, it is unclear how things will be organised. The National Security Council doesn’t want markets to be a social happening at this point so it doesn’t sound too much fun.
We’ll keep you posted.
