After a little tour of Oudenaarde and having walked around Ronse railway station, we walked into the city of Ronse. We had an hour.
Ronse is quaint. Honestly, neither Danny or I expected it. It’s hilly – not a surprise in the Flemish Ardennes – and the streets have a natural, bendy flow.
We went up to the Basilica of Saint Hermes and walked back to the station.
Ronse seems a nice destination for a day excursion. Next time we’ll include the Muziekbos (Music Woods).
