REVIEW |Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge Sydney

Early 2020 AD. Timothy and I embark on a 21st century Odyssey. On the Majestic Princess from Sydney to New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji. Back to Sydney, then to Melbourne and flying back home.

We did this before the Big Coronavirus Disruption of Life As We Knew It.

After our visit to the Air New Zealand Lounge we hopped in next door at the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge. It is much smaller and darker than its Kiwi neighbour. The different styles of seating however are nicely chosen. There is a small area looking out into the terminal at the front while the main lounge is at the back, overlooking the airport operations.

The buffet had a big but slightly more classic offering, nonetheless we had some very nice food here to eat our waiting time away.

The Lounge even offered two shower rooms and both the shower rooms and the general toilets offered some extra amenities like toothbrushes, combs, lotions and eau de toilette to use.

The Singapore Airlines lounge is without doubt a good place to wait for your flight and it is vastly superior to many airport lounges in the world, however the Air New Zealand lounge next door in Sydney actually was a bit more to my liking as it was more spacious and more modern.

Have you got a favourite airport lounge? If so which one and where? Let us know in the comments below!
