Early 2020 AD. Timothy and I embark on a 21st century Odyssey. On the Majestic Princess from Sydney to New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji. Back to Sydney, then to Melbourne and flying back home.

As we had 6 hours to spend in Bangkok we decided to a bit of lounge hopping. After having a shower and massage at the Thai Airways lounges we strolled onwards to the Singapore Airlines Silverkris Lounge, located a bit further down the corridor.

It was a small lounge with a beautiful bar in the middle, serving some nice freshly made cocktails. There was some seating throughout the lounge but it was very busy so we just sat at the bar. The food offering was also good and generous with choices of both Asian and international cuisine.

The Singapore Airlines lounge in Bangkok was fantastic, the only downside we could find was that it was way too small for the number of people it had to handle. It made us look forward to experience their lounges in Sydney and Singapore and their on-board product, wondering whether they would hold the same high standard.
