Europeans visit other European countries over 7 nights on average

In the COVID-19 pandemic stricken year of 2021, tourism trips made by residents of the European Union to another EU Member State had an average duration longer than one week – 7.9 nights – ranging from 4.3 nights for trips to Czechia and Luxembourg to 11.3 nights for trips to Romania. 

ÖBB’s Nightjet to connect Berlin to Brussels from December 2023

Austria‘s national railway company ÖBB will connect Brussels in Belgium to Berlin in Germany from December 2023 with its Nightjet sleeper trains. Half December is Europe‘s railway universe’s New Year. Night trains advocate Back On Track Belgium is delighted with the news. 

Belgium’s Great Spa Town of Europe Spa

After visiting the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Oriol and I decided to have dinner in the spa town of Spa. Yes, the word spa comes from Spa in Belgium, just as the duffle coat is named after the Belgian town of Duffel.
