My sister lives in Zug. After taking the Thalys from Antwerp tot Paris, the TGV Lyria to Lausanne and staying in Montreux, I used the GoldenPass Line in Switzerland. Starting in Montreux and ending in Lucerne (Luzern).
On my way to my sister in Zug in Switzerland I stayed in Montreux, in the French speaking canton of Vaud. I chose Tralala Hotel as it’s walking distance from the railway station, it had a good price and it seemed overall nice for one night. Also, I found the name funny.

After another scenic journey over the Golden Pass route from Kandersteg to Montreux, I would be staying at the Golf Hôtel René Capt.
After finishing the first part of my east-west Alps crossing in Kandersteg the day before, today I continued onwards for the second portion. The First part followed the route of the old Loetschberg mountain line down towards the Thunersee.
