My sister lives in Zug, Switzerland. From Antwerp in Belgium there are several possible routes.
After the Thalys from Antwerp-Central to Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy near Paris we took an inOui (ex-TGV) train to Bordeaux-Saint-Jean. SNCF uses aging Alstom TGV Atlantique EMU’s for this service.
TGV Lyria is the brand name for trains between France and Switzerland. In February I travelled from Paris Gare de Lyon to Lausanne.
My sister lives in Zug, which means ‘train’ in German. So obviously, as a train enthusiast I took the train to Zug. Mit dem Zug nach Zug.
After a wonderful 17 days of travelling across 4 different countries in a whole bunch of different trains, it was time to board my last 3 trains and return home.
