When I passed Antwerp International Airport (ANR, Internationale Luchthaven Antwerpen) by train, I remembered I filmed landing at our little airport in 2016.
Antwerp Airport is a small airport with a small and cosy atmosphere. It feels like a bus stop with a quick process to check in and board and get out.

Work on the airport started in 1921. Sabena started operating flights in 1924. In 1930 a first terminal was inaugurated.
Changing attitudes towards flying in general and nuisance(s) put Antwerp Airport in the district of Deurne under pressure. So I was happy to land there, coming from Rome in Italy and flying with Jetairfly.

Love small airports unfortunately there I pass by a rental car after taken it at Midi Bruxelles train station!
There aren’t many scheduled flights at ANR, so it’s difficult to experience it.
