HOW TO | Face mask mandatory in Belgian trains, buses, trams and metros

From Monday, 4 May – yes, May the Fourth be with you – it is mandatory to wear a face mask or a scarf on public transportation in Belgium. This is a coronavirus COVID-19 countermeasure.

This face mask may be homemade. As long as it covers your mouth ánd nose. It is mandatory for everyone over the age of 12. It is mandatory in trains, in buses, in trams, in metros, in stations, on platforms and at bus and tram stops.

Face masks are in high demand. I bought some at Barcode Berlin (thinking out of the box). Underwear brands make them as well. Or you can make some yourself.

Here’s how.

We wouldn’t know. Trip By Trip is a hobby and we don’t make money with it. We don’t intend to monetise it in any way.

          1. Ok, thanks
