Antwerp-Central Railway Station to get new facade lights

Antwerp-Central Railway Station will get a ‘light plan‘ so the railway cathedral can come even more into its own at night.

Led lights will light up the facade. The government of the City of Antwerp will appoint a light designer to design a light plan. Alderman for Public Domain Claude Marinower (Open Vld) is adamant the led lights will be economical and will not cause (extra) light pollution. 

The light plan must not only focus on the station itself, but the surroundings as wel. 

The inauguration is plannend for the end of 2022.
