ANTWERP PRIDE 2025 | Queer Families in Town, Friday 8 August, Sint-Andriesplaats

The 18th edition (since 2008) of Antwerp Pride takes place from Wednesday 6 to Sunday 10 August 2025 in Antwerp. This year’s theme is “Do not just march! Listen. Understand. Commit”. Prides are a mix of celebration – parties – and activism and advocacy. For the 2025 edition, the organising committee focuses on belonging. Belonging to the society at large – the ‘outside world’ – but also belonging within the rainbow realm.

Pride in Town is expanding its event this year with a joyful afternoon at the Sint-Andriesplaats, inviting all queer families and their allies.

Antwerp Pride aims to create an inclusive and festive atmosphere where young and old can enjoy a colorful and warm environment, featuring a range of activities that are perfect for the whole family.

“Let your children thrive at the lively kids’ disco, where they can dance and have fun. Additionally, they can jump on the bouncy castle and participate in various activities, including fun games, crafts workshops, and interactive sessions.”

“Our afternoon starts at 2 PM and lasts until 6 PM, allowing families to relax and enjoy each other’s company in a safe and supportive environment. This is a chance for parents, grandparents, and children to create beautiful memories together and experience Antwerp Pride in all its glory.”

After this festive afternoon, the well-known Pride in Town festivities begin. We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Pride, where queer families can be proud of who they are, surrounded by friends and family.

“We look forward to welcoming you on this special day filled with joy, love, and solidarity!”
