In 2024, the Speelgoedmuseum Mechelen or Mechelen Toy Museum in Mechelen (Malines, Mechlin), moved from the Nekkerspoel area of town to the Koning Allbertplein or King Albert Square adjacent to Mechelen Railway Station. Danny and I went to visit on a cold January 2025 Sunday.

On 24 February 2024, the Museum Hof van Busleyden in Mechelen (Malines, Mechlin) reopened after some two years of renovations. After visiting the temporary exhibition ‘Knights of the Golden Fleece: a Brilliant Myth Unravelled‘, I explored the permanent collection. 

Dinner Train comes to Belgium

Dinner Train is expanding from the Netherlands to Belgium. The concept is simple, really, while you dine, Dinner Train travels on the rails. The first ride in Belgium is in Saint Nicholas (Sint-Niklaas, Saint-Nicolas), on Friday 1 March 2024.
