Seattle followed Vancouver on our 2016 America rail adventure. It’s main attraction for us was the Museum of Flight, also known as ‘the Boeing museum’. We’ll cover that one separately. But it made me think of a theme for this blogpost: past future.
Last ime we talked about the long distance and transcontinental trains ofthe American rail operator Amtrak. As we got inspired by watching some travel vlogs about travelling on Amtrak and spurred on by Michael Portillo‘s ‘Great American Railroad Journeys‘ on BBC Two we decided to try it out ourselves in 2016.
Claus Gurumeta breathes travel. It’s his job at Flight Center and his social media oozes the good life with visits to breweries, travels to the United Sates, Argentina, his father’s country of origin Mexico and many other destinations.
