2020 will be remembered for the coronavirus COVID-19 crisis. Leather and fetish festival Darklands in Antwerp did take place – just before the lockdown was announced – but 22% of the presold tickets were not redeemed. Box office sales were very low.
Darklands has received five notifications of partygoers having tested positive to the virus.
Usually Darklands doesn’t refund unused tickets. But due to the extraordinary situation, it offers a 50% discount for Darklands 2021 to unused 2020 ticket-holders.
