REVIEW | Turkish Airlines Lounge Bangkok

Early 2020 AD. Timothy and I embark on a 21st century Odyssey. On the Majestic Princess from Sydney to New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji. Back to Sydney, then to Melbourne and flying back home.

After having a drink in the Singapore Airlines Silverkris Lounge we hopped on towards the Turkish Airlines Lounge next door.

It’s a pretty new lounge with a wonderful outside view over the gardens of the landside of the airport.

As it is still new everything is still spick and span and most passengers haven’t found the way there yet, making it a very quiet and relaxing lounge.

The catering was pretty similar to the Thai Airways Lounges with several options of cold and hot items. They however also had a live cooking option where you could get some Turkish Pide and a kettle where you could get some real Turkish Tea giving it a real Turkish feel.

Turkish Airlines is now rapidly opening up new lounges around the world and creating a big, high quality lounge network all accessible also if you hold a Priority Pass membership.

What do you think of Turkish Airlines’ new lounge strategy and would you pay to get lounge access? Let us know in the comments below!
