As reported last year, NMBS / SNCB will operate a regular-speeds Eurocity train from Brussels in Belgium to Paris in France in collaboration with SNCF. This summer, the train will run twice daily during the Olympic Games, from 24 July to 11 August, and during the Paralympic Games, from 28 August to 8 September 2024. You can now book a ticket on a train, not for a specific seat.
The Eurocity will have a frequency of two round-trips per day and will call at Mons (Bergen) between Brussels-South/Midi and Paris-North. The train will consist of a locomotive hauling couches and is a regular-speed train running on the classic line.

The Eurocity train is only authorized for international travel and cannot therefore be used to travel from Brussels to Mons.
The journey time will be some three hours, but as engineering works are already planned, the journey time will vary.
Take a look here for pricing, terms and conditions. Group reservations are possible, from ten people. There’s no discount available for FIPs, passes such as Interrail or Eurail and people with reduced mobility.
While your ticket will be specific for well uhm a specific train, there is no seat reservation. Most NMBS / SNCB rolling stock does not include a seat numbering option.
We expect I11 and I10, perhaps I6 coaches will be used.
