The City of Antwerp is once again organising the Bollekesfeest, taking place from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 August 2025. Over the years, the festival has grown into the traditional finale of the summer holidays, where young and old come together to enjoy music, dancing, and delicious food and drinks.
Across three iconic squares – the Grote Markt, Groenplaats and Suikerrui – artists, DJs and food trucks will create a vibrant atmosphere for three days, all free of charge.
Programme
The festivities officially kick off on Friday at 4 PM with a summer aperitif on the Grote Markt, opened by DJ DIMI. Performances by IIII (Four), Jelle Van Dael and 2 Fabiola will follow. Meanwhile, The Love Below will take over the Groenplaats for an evening of music.
Saturday is set to be the busiest day, with Maksim as the main headliner on the Grote Markt. Sam Gooris and Sylver will also set the tone on stage. On the Groenplaats, audiences can dance to the sounds of Farao, Grace and Michael Schack, joined by an extra set from DJ Avenue, known for performing at Ed Sheeran’s afterparty.
Closing Sunday
The closing day on Sunday focuses on families and sing-along favourites. The Grote Markt will host Scaletta Kids and Gio Kemper, with DJ F.R.A.N.K. bringing festive beats.
On the Groenplaats, performances by Sam Renascent and Midnight Avenue will set the mood before everyone comes together for Vlaanderen Zingt (Flanders Sings), an uplifting sing-along that will bring the Bollekesfeest to a lively close.
Food trucks and bars
Throughout the weekend, food trucks and bars will serve a wide variety of snacks and drinks. On the Groenplaats, tables and chairs will be available for those who prefer to enjoy the atmosphere while seated.
Smart ways to Antwerp
The city encourages visitors to travel by bicycle, shared mobility, public transport, or via a park-and-ride facility. Parking at the Grote Markt will remain open, but in the historic centre only residents and permit holders are allowed to park on the street.
Once again, Bollekesfeest 2025 promises to be a weekend full of music, fun, and togetherness – a festive way to say farewell to summer in Antwerp.
