Deutsche Bahn has confirmed in a press release the new Cologne in Germany to Antwerp in Belgium connection. The German train operator presented its plans for 2026.

“Starting in May 2026, the Prague to Copenhagen connection via Dresden, Berlin, and Hamburg will begin. This will also result in up to four additional trains per day between Hamburg and Copenhagen, depending on the season.”

But more importantly: “And for the first time, starting in September 2026, there will be four daily ICE connections between Cologne and Antwerp via Brussels Airport, which will now have a new connection to the ICE network.”

Originally, Deutsche Bahn asked for track space and time for two daily return trips.

This connection will start in September 2026.
