If you get the chance, go and visit the ‘Porn, Pulp and Literature‘ at the Hendrik Conscience Heritage Library, aka Erfgoedbibliotheek Hendrik Conscience, in Antwerp.

After I saw Kevin and Sven post snapshots of the exhibition on Facebook, I decided to go myself. I asked Oriol to watch some porn together. Sorry couldn’t resist this double entendre.

The ‘Porn, Pulp and Literature’ exhibition is located in the Nottebohm Room at the Library. The room is worth a visit in its own right. The exhibition gives an isight on on pornography in literature and pulp magazines in Flanders from the 17th Century up to now.

It’s a history lesson in what people like, find acceptable and censorship.

Admission is only 5 euros.

Practical information.
