VIDEO | 6 hotspots for amazing views of Barcelona

Thursday in Barcelona with Oriol turned out to be a day of amazing views of the city.

Where did we go?

1: Torre Bellesguard

Torre Bellesguard in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi is a medievel and modernist villa on a hill redesigned by Antoni Gaudí. The terrace gives a spectacular view of Barcelona.

2: Tibidabo

Tibidabo is a 512 meter high mountain overlooking Barcelona (and Catalonia). You can get there by funicular. On top there’s the Parc d’Atraccions Tibidabo amusement park and the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor or Holy Heart Church.

3: Centre Comercial Arenas de Barcelona

The Centre Comercial Arenas de Barcelona or Arenas Shopping Center is a transformed bullfighting arena. On top, you have great views on the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) on Montjuïc.

4: MNAC on Montjuïc

Speaking of Montjuïc, head there to have the opposite view of what you saw at Arenas.

5: Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc

The Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc or Monjuïc Municipal Pool is so photogenic, it was the location of Kylie Minogue‘s ‘Slow‘ music video. Also, go there and imagine Tom Daley or Matthew Mitcham in there speedos.

6: Telefèric de Montjuïc

What goes up, must go down. At one point you’ll have to head down to sea level. Why not use the Telefèric de Montjuïc or Barcelona Cable Car going to the port and beach. Make stunning images on the way down.
