Zoo Antwerpen and Zoo Planckendael cancel their ‘China Light‘ festival of winter 2020-2021. The reason? COVID-19 and coronavirus countermeasures. 

This year’s lights festival had nothing ‘China‘ but had ‘Alice in Wonderland‘ as theme.

As the Province of Antwerp prohibited all outdoor winter activities such as Christmas markets, the Light Festival has bee called off as well. 

The Lights Festival is very popular and fills trains to Antwerp from December to January.
