Queer lab

New this year will be a ‘queer lab’, a space for young queer artists, performers and producers.

As we are still in COVID-19 times, there will also be an online aspect in the shape of a podcast.

No real theme

There’s not one theme this year, as last year. In the past, themes were ‘RIOT‘ in 2019 or ‘China‘ in 2015.

“We look at images to not be alone”. The quote on the poster designed by Nick Mattan is from artist Luki Von Der Gracht. “It’s catchy and timely”, says Marcia Poelman of AQAF. Prints of the quote will be sold as a fundraiser.

Further plans will be announced later on.

Now let’s cross fingers August will permit more live human interactions.
