Antwerp Pride, the organisation, released the Antwerp Pride Magazine. Besides the programme and schedule for Antwerp Pride, the event, it contains interviews.

The magazine is available in LGBT hotspots across Antwerp such as Café DeLux, Hessenhuis, Het Roze Huis – çavaria Antwerpen and karaoke bar Bonaparte. The Antwerp Pride app will be updated soon.

Some highlights

On Thursday 9 August there’s the Midsummer Party in open air at Draakplaats near The Pink House.

On Friday 10 August there’s a symposium tackling the theme of this year’s Antwerp Pride: identity. The symposium will be in Dutch and planned at the Permeke Public Library.

On Friday there are also the Pride Games and Roof of Love at Theaterplein. On Friday night the three-day night part Pride Night starts. It’s a series of parties by  Red & Blue, Extravaganza, Funky, Rapido, H.I.M, Flash, Lumbago, Les Après-Midis Croque Monsieur and IKON.

Parade on Saturday

Saturday 11 August is parade day. The Antwerp Pride Pride Parade starts at 2PM at the Waterpoort. It is followed by the Love United Festival, an open air party at Steenplein near the Steen castle.

On the second night of Pride Night, Eurovision Song Contest winner Netta Barzilai from Israel will perform ‘Toy‘ at De Shop.

Concert on Sunday

Last but not least there’s the Antwerp Pride Closing Festival on Sunday 12 August at Steenplein. This free concert gives a podium to local, national and international artists.
