The Antwerp Queer Arts Festival is still planning its 2020 edition. Belgium prohibits mass events until the 31st of August but you can hardly call the niche, arty farty happenings of AQAF “mass events”.
“Amidst all that is going on (or rather, not going on), we are still planning an AQAF edition this summer. As we speak, it is clear that mass events will be prohibited until the end of August. So we are waiting for more news later this month on what scale of events will be allowed in August. Keep strong! Lots of love!”
The Antwerp Queer Arts Festival is scheduled for 3 tot 9 August.
Antwerp Pride has announced scaling down activities, scrapping the parade and large concerts.
It will be interesting to see how it works out!
