The fifteenth edition of Antwerpen Proeft – Antwerp Tastes – will take place during the Ascension weekend of 18 to 21 May. Home of Antwerpen Proeft is the Waagnatie, which also hosts Darklands. 

Renowned restaurants, star chefs, young kitchen talent and TV chefs offer signature dishes in tasting form at Belgium‘s multi-day culinary festival. Nowhere else will you find – completely live – at one address and at the same time so many top dishes for a low price: from 6 euros to 7.5 or 9 euros.

Leading specialist shops and traditional names also feature on the poster of this jubilee edition. Free cooking demonstrations and workshops are other attractions, as are a priceless view of the Scheldt and an extra festive atmosphere. Antwerpen Proeft is a unique culinary journey of discovery, close to home.

​The festival takes place at the Waagnatie, in the Eilandje district. With both indoor and outdoor covered stands of restaurants, bars and terraces, Antwerpen Proeft can handle all weather conditions.
