It’s summer so it’s time for Antwerp Pride and Antwerp Queer Arts Festival (AQAF). From 4 to 27 August, AQAF hosts queer artists being queer, in the alternative, quirky, more rebellious sense of the word. Antwerp Pride, from 9 to 13 August, is more mainstream, openly catering to everyone and thus attracting a general, more mainstream LGBTQIA+ and allied public. This year’s pride theme is ‘Braveolution‘.

Gustaph, who represented Belgium at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, will perform at Antwerp Pride’s Closing Festival on Sunday 13 August at Cockerillkaai.

“Sunday it’s time to say goodbye to Antwerp Pride and to all the friends you have made along the way. But not without one last party, are you still up for it because we have some special treats in store for you”, Antwerp Pride says.

“And yes: after his triumph at Eurovision he will come to our stage: Gustaph! It will be an afternoon of singing, dancing and vibing to some great songs and also some guilty pleasures.” 

“You are welcome from 2 PM and the party continues until 11 PM after which we say a fond farewell to this year’s edition of Antwerp Pride. Best part? Entrance is totally free!”
